I have read and was astounded and dismayed by “Painful Questions”, “The New Pearl Harbor”, and “In Plane Site”, all about the facts surrounding the 9/11 terrorist attacks. I had believed the administration’s conspiracy theory that 19 terrorists had attacked us. I thought that perhaps the military had screwed up royally. I am now convinced that it is the Bush administration’s “conspiracy theory” that is absurd; that 19 screw-ups, who couldn’t do anything right, somehow defeated the entire US Air Force, CIA, FBI, NSA, and multiple airport security screenings. This unbelievable “official” “conspiracy theory” has now been rubber stamped by the 9/11 Commission Report (http://www.9-11commission.gov) which, according to Harper’s Magazine (October 2004) and other investigators, is a “whitewash”, full of errors, lies, and omissions. Q            Building 7 at the WTC, 47 floors, steel, and constructed differently from the twin towers, fell at 5:30 but it was never hit by an airplane, had no significant fire!

Q            Jet fuel burns at too low a temperature to significantly harm steel. The black smoke means that the fire did not reach the maximum temperature for jet fuel.

Q            The fires were not long enough (only 1-2 hours) to harm the steel.

Q            The gusting wind on the towers had at times been greater than the impact of the airliners. Q            The buildings collapsed at the maximum speed of gravity – impossible without explosives! (Each floor hit would have slowed the fall some, more at the beginning.)

Q            The concrete was encased in a steel framed pan yet clouds of finely pulverized concrete and steel beams came shooting out of the buildings for up to three times the width of the building at hundreds of miles per hour - only possible with explosives.

Q            If the force of the falling building is strong enough to pulverize concrete then the bolts and rivets would have to hold beyond that force – and then give way. Yet the force to pulverize concrete into fine powder is greater than the force that sheers or stretches steel bolts and rivets. It cannot be both ways.

Q            Both impacts and fires in the Twin Towers did not hit the center of the buildings. That means that only two sides of the building were harmed at most and two sides were structurally sound. Building 7 had no impact or significant fires. Yet all three collapses are perfectly straight down. Q            “I’m still to this day amazed that he [alleged pilot on Flight 77] could have flown into the Pentagon," according to the hijackers pilot instructor. "He could not fly at all." Yet, “The steep turn was so smooth, the sources say, it's clear there was no fight for control going on. Q            NATIONAL COMMISSION ON TERRORIST ATTACKS UPON THE UNITED STATES, Public Hearing, Friday, May 23, 2003:  Mr. Mineta: “There was a young man who had come in and said to the vice president, "The plane [Flight 77] is 50 miles out…. 30 miles…10 miles out” – Cheney knew this plane was coming at Washington and the Pentagon and yet no planes had been scrambled to protect Washington after over 1 hour since the WTC was attacked. Even at 400 miles per hour, it takes over 7 minutes to travel 50 miles, more since the plane was at altitude. Cheney knew the plane was coming when it was even farther away since Mr. Mineta had not been present when Flight 77 was first reported to Mr. Cheney. They had known this flight was missing for over an hour after the first plane crashed into the North Tower. There should have been an umbrella of F-16 and other aircraft over Washington, DC. An F-16 fighter can travel 50 miles and destroy a target in less than 2 minutes. Moreover, pictures released by the Pentagon show anti-aircraft missiles firing at an aircraft much smaller than a 757. Q            NORAD successfully intercepted off course and suspected hijackings 67 times during the year prior to 9/11 (AP, 8/13/02). An Air Force F-15 “scrambles” to 29,000 feet in 2.5 minutes, normally intercepting in 15 minutes. This book is very disturbing. One thing is for certain; the facts surrounding the multiple WTC building collapses and Pentagon attack prove our government is not telling us the whole truth. I shudder to think what this book seems to prove is true. Ask your friends who are experts on the topics covered. I am now convinced that it was not just an error of omission. It seems clear to me that someone executed a master of deception’s plan and killed thousands of innocent people. Osama and Bush may just be patsies [people to take the blame].

I am also appalled by the media. We commissioned a Zogby Poll that reported that 66% of New Yorkers wanted the 9/11 investigation re-opened. Moreover, it found that 49% thought that VIP's in the government knew and did nothing. The New York Times did not think this was "news fit to print". P.S. Mr. Huftschmid looks for conspiracies and asks intelligent questions. Secrecy begs questions. Being right or wrong on one issue is not proof of right or wrong on another. He unnecessarily complicates things with questions about the Kennedy assassination on which I am not commenting, pro or con. Logically, who would be the least afraid of ridicule and first to find a conspiracy? Remember that in the legend, the wolf did finally come.

 

David vonKliest’s video, “In plane Site”, contains three mistakes and one very controversial section.

1.        The maximum temperature of jet fuel (or any hydrocarbon in air) is 1800F not 3000F.

2.        The jet, if it was flight 77, would have had only about 5700 gallons of fuel, not 8900 gallons, due to higher consumption at takeoff.

3.        In the plume of smoke section, vonKleist incorrectly identifies the collapsing building situation. It is a clear mistake. The plume is occurring as the building behind collapses.

 

The controversial part is the alleged “pod”. Some say it is a shadow playing tricks.

 

However, the “flash” is real. The difference between a flash of light and a shadow is night and day. It occurs only on one section of the nose, not the entire nose. It does not occur as any other part of the plane hits the building. It occurs on both planes. It cannot be static since the plane is in a turn so that the top of the nose, not the bottom of the nose would have hit first. Since the flash is at the side of the bottom of the nose, it cannot be a static discharge. Furthermore, static discharge would not look like a puff of smoke. Moreover, it would be clearly visible like a lightning strike, not hidden in a puff.
